$2 Tutorial - Gift Jar

Okay, Friday's tutorial is a little late :) I have actually been scrapbooking my heart out for the past couple of days. I printed some photos on my home computer thinking that it would save me some $$, but I am completely disgusted with the quality of the prints, so I am going back to my method of uploading them to 1 hour at Target. That has kept me pretty busy! I have just started to edit my photos before uploading them so hopefully they will not need as much cropping. I am working on some scrapbooking pages to upload and show soon!

Anyway, on to today's tutorial (well, yesterday's but who's counting?) I cleaned the label off of this jar and decorated it up for fall. Too cute! Not over the top or anything, but it would be great for a jar soup mix, or some type of cookie mix for gift giving. Today's tutorial is for a small gift bag. The base measures about 2 x 3 1/2, so it would be perfect for holding a votive candle, small party favors, or a little candy treat. I also have several gifty type poems that would be great to include inside. Of course, you could change the color scheme and outside decor on the bag to fit your needs. Today's tutorial is for the Snowman Kisses Poem and treat bag pictured below. I have seen the traditional snowman poop poem over the years, and I prefer this one. You could also use white chocolate chips, Hershey kisses, or yogurt covered raisins as a substitute for the marshmallows.
