Thanks to all of you who had been praying for my sweet little Kagen! His surgery was last Friday, and he is doing great. You would never know that he had anything wrong with him to begin with, let alone that he had surgery. Here's a cute picture of him with my glasses on. I think it's in my top ten favorite pictures of him. What a big cheesy grin!

Happy Halloween Everyone!
I am so excited about Halloween this year. I think we have finally got all of our costumes figured out. I am dressing up as a witch, my husband is going to be a trucker redneck (no, it was not my idea). Kalyn is going to be Hannah Montana. Caleb is going to be a doctor and the baby will be Clifford the little big dog :)
I will be busy preparing food today so I will not have time to show any of the other projects we did for the party yet, but I wanted to show you the pumpkin that Jonathan carved with Caleb. It turned out so cute. He has been working late all week so he hasn't been able to do Kalyns yet, 
so I guess that will also be on today's agenda. He is making a Snow White pumpkin for her.
I am back from my blogging hiatus...with tons of cute stuff!
My sister and I decided to have a Halloween Party at my Mom's house this year -- today we decided! I had to get busy busy making things. Here's the centerpiece for the table. It's so cute and was easy to make. Hope you like it!
The tallest thing is a halloween paper tree, and there are two glass containers filled with crimped 
grass and some scallop circle decoratively stamped sticks. These will go on each side of the tree on our food table. I also made a menu of all of our food. I really enjoyed making this because I got to use my Cricut and my embossed primas. I know the images aren't very clear, but hopefully you can get the idea :) If you want to learn how to make them, email me and we can pick a time that I can show you at my studio. These could easily be adapted for thanksgiving, christmas, or birthday parties.

Mommy, can you put this on your blog?
Kalyn is so funny! When I first started trying to sell my things on ebay, she would ask if she could sell her pictures and art stuff, too. I would just encourage her to give her things away to her friends or to family. Well today was no exception. She saw me making the bagelope for her daddy, and filling it with brownies and told me that she had a great idea. She said that she needed glue and paper and tape. Prior to that, she had been playing with playdough my sister made for her and Caleb. I went on about my business, continuing to make the bag for Jonathan. At about the time I got ready to take the pictures to put on my blog, she showed me what she made. Apparently, I have been altering way too many household items because there she was -- she had covered a tupperware bowl with construction paper with her glue stick and my scrapbooking tape. She put her playdough in it and explained to me how she did it, like she was giving me the tutorial. She asked if I could take a picture of her project and put it on my blog for everyone to see. So here she is, in all of her 3:00 in the afternoon, still in her pajamas, oh-so-proud moment. Enjoy!
$2 Tutorial - Bagelope
Some of you may be wondering what in the world is a "bagelope" or how do you even say that word? Well, let me clear a few things up for you :) It is pronounced like bag - a - lope and it is a bag made from an envelope. It doesn't matter what size envelope you have, it can be made into a bagelope. You can fill them with all sorts of stuff and design
them in any color scheme or theme you can imagine.
These photos show what I made for my husband, Jonathan, today. We are still working on the Love Dare challenge, and this is my way of going out of my way to show him how special he is to me. I filled it with cream cheese brownies -- the ones he's been begging me to make :)

No, I haven't forgotten about all of you in blogland...
Sorry for not posting everyday lately, but I have been so busy with Kaly
n's schoolwork and I have been cleaning all day to get ready for my candle party tonight for Peter and Charity (almost) Dublin. I am so excited about candles now :) I am thinking about signing up to make my own candles and adding that to my list of available items...the wheels are turning! I have about 6 decorative boxes that I have already made that would be perfect for holding all of the candles. Today's $2 tutorial would hold a 4 oz. candle perfectly :) The candles are only $6 at that size, and they burn for 20-40 hours, depending on how long you leave it lit at one time. Anyway, back to the tutorial...this is a pumpkin basket/box, and would also be cute with a little grass and some candy corns, or pumpkin candies. Let me know what you think! Pumpkin Patch - Kid Friendly $2 Tutorial
My kids and my nephew had an awesome time today making their "Happy Halloween Pumpkin Patch" today. They always like to play with my punches, so I created this little Pumpkin Patch picture for them to do with my punches. We used glitter, stamps, decorative scissors and lots of glue and paper.
